The New Orleans Wedding of Debbie and Matt Murray

Debbie and Matt are an incredible couple from Chicago. Debbie went to school in New Orleans and fell in love with the culture and beauty of the city. When her and Matt became engaged, she knew right away that she wanted a wedding in New Orleans and she wanted good music and good food! That they got!!! Debbie and Matt hired the services of my mom, Jayne, with Events by Jayne in New Orleans, to coordinate and design their wedding. She recommended me as a photographer and boy was I excited to fly to NOLA to photograph a wedding! It's my hometown and I love everything about the city! Jayne did an amazing job with making the traditional Mardi Gras colors of Purple, Green, and Gold, come together in such an eleagant way. She used vendors such as Dani Babineaux with Tapestry Linens for reception decor and floral designer, Lee Worrells for the amazing flowers! The wedding ceremony was held at the famous St Louis Cathedral in the center of Jackson Square. A brass band let them in a second line across the street to  Pat O's on the River, located in Jax Brewery. The live band, Fleur de Lis, rocked the place out! The food was amazing, the people were amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better 1st wedding to shoot in New Orleans!
